Plaas Pret – Farm Fun Holiday Program

Worcester Museum bied vanaf 11 Desember 2017 tot 12 Januarie 2018 `n vakansie Plaas Pret program by die Museum aan vir besoekers.  Dit sluit die volgende aktiwiteite in, strooi poppe maak van strooi, kettie skiet, kleilat gooi, klei osse maak, visblik karretjies, kussing gevegte en toutrek.  Die tye vir bogemelde aktiwiteite is van Maandag tot Vrydag 9H00 tot 16H00

Farm Fun program from 11 December 2017 to 12 January 2018 will be presented to visitors to the Worcester Museum. This will include activities such as making of straw dolls, catty shooting, clay-stick throwing, making of clay oxen and fish tin cars, pillow fights and tug-of-war.  Times for these activities will be Monday to Friday from 09:00-16:00.

Worcester Museum bied op 17 Desember 2017 `n Kersfees boom funksie aan in samewerking met Rocsa gemeenskap groep by Hex Park Primere skool vir 300 kinders.
On 17 December Worcester Museum will host a Christmas function in collaboration with Rocsa at Hexpark Primary School, which will be attended by 300 underprivileged children.

Heritage Day 2017

Worcester Museum het `n baie suksesvolle Erfenisdag program aangebied, 692 mense het die program bygewoon. Ronnie Apollis het as Serimoniemeester opgetree en verskeie kunstenaars het aan die program deelgeneem.

Worcester Museum hosted a successful Heritage Day event on the 25th of September 2017.  692 Visitors attended the program, Ronnie Apollis was the MC and local artists entertained the visitors.

Heritage Day Celebrations at Worcester Museum

Worcester Museum bied aan Erfenisdag op 25 September 2017, begin om 10H00 en ttoegang is gratis.                                                                                         Alle bevolkingsgroepe se erfenis gaan op verskeie maniere uitgebeeld word deur sang, dans en tradisionele manier van kosmaak eie aan elke kultuur. Praktiese aktiwiteite soos broodbak, bottermaak, maaskaas, maak van kerse, seepkook en nog vele meer gaan gedemonstreer word. Die hoogtepunt van die dag is natuurlik ons eie Worcester kunstenaar Ronnie Apollis wat die skare met sy liedjies van ”Toeka tot Nou ” sal bekoor.

Worcester Museum will be hosting a Heritage Day event on 25 September 2017 from 10H00 and entry is free.                                                                            The heritage of all cultural groups will be portrayed in various ways Including live performances, singing, dancing,  drama and traditional ways of food making.  Demonstations will include bread baking, candle and soap making, roasting of coffee beans, making of butter and cottage cheese and papermaking.  The highlight of the day will be our very own artist from Worcester Ronnie Apollis who will charm the crowd with his songs                        from “Toeka tot Nou”.
